Sony Xperia Z:
The oft leaked next generation Sony devices have once again been seen in a leaked press shot. The glamour shot shows the highly anticipated flagship level device from Sony called the Xperia Z. Also known as the Yuga, the smartphone will be powered by Android Jellybean. The phone stands in the same class as the HTC Droid DNA amongst others. Rumored specifications for the handset include a full HD, five inch display. A Snapdragon Pro quad core processor is expected to power the show here and will be coupled with 2GB of RAM to provide a solid high end hardware solution. A 13MP camera will be featured over at the back of the handset.

Specs wise, the Xperia Z reportedly sports a 5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels) display at 440ppi with Sony’s Mobile Bravia Engine and runs on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which is expandable by another 128GB. Other features include a 13-megapixel rear camera, micro-USB as well as USB host mode, 802.11 a/b/g/n in both 2.4GHz and 5GHz modes, Bluetooth 4.0, LTE and NFC. Sony is expected to hold a press conference on January 7th at CES 2013 where we’ll know more official details of the Xperia Z.
