Huawei Ascend D2 | 5 Inch Touchscreen

Huawei Ascend D2:

Right after the announcement of the Huawei Honor 2 comes another high-end Android smartphone made by the Chinese manufacturer. Introducing the Huawei Ascend D2, which can be seen as a decent alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Note II as it packs a 5-inch touchscreen with HD resolution. But that isn’t the only feature that the new handset has to brag with. There will also be a 3,000mAh battery to drive the Ascend D2 throughout the work day, and hopefully, beyond, while Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will be made available right out of the box so that you need not wait for a software update – perhaps for Android 4.2 though. The Huawei Ascend D2 looks set for a China release sometime next year, which by then, the hardware specifications might just get bumped down the pecking order and then some. No idea on how much it will cost though.

Huawei Ascend D2 Features And Specifications:

The Huawei Ascend D2 features a 5-inch display with an HD resolution, and a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. A report by Unwired View states that the processor may be the K3V manufactured in-house by Huawei. The Huawei Ascend sports a 13MP rear camera while the 1.3MP camera found in the front can be used for video calling. The handset features a 3,000mAh battery that should keep the handset charged for a significant amount of time. It is loaded with Android v4.1 Jelly Bean. The Hawei Ascend D2 is expected to launch in early 2013 in China. There is no official world on the global availability of the handset yet.
