HTC has announced a new phone that seems to aim at the budget segment, similar to Samsung’s Galaxy S III mini. The new phone, dubbed the HTC Desire U, seems to feature a look familiar to that of the Desire family. The phone is set to fill the price segment above that of the Desire C. It will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and seems to have Sense 4.
The phone features a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. On the insides, it runs on a 1 GHz processor and has 512MB of RAM. It also has 4GB of internal storage and the memory is expandable up to 32GB via microSD.
