Fujitsu Eye-Tracking Tablet | Features Specs

Fujitsu Eye-Tracking Tablet:

Tobii, Fujitsu and NTT DoCoMo announced Touch interfaces have altered the way we use mobile devices, opened up tablets as an entire new class of device, and changed how we think about interacting with machines. So what’s the next big input revolution? One answer could be eye tracking technology, which lets users navigate a screen simply by looking around it. At this year’s CEATEC trade show in Japan, Fujitsu demonstrated a prototype tablet and desktop equipped with I Beam, a system that does eye tracking with remarkably little hardware.

Fujitsu Eye-Tracking Tablet Features And Specifications:

Until now, this eye-tracking technology was available in desktop or non-portable devices. Now users can expect to have portable eye controlled devices. They can simply perform their tasks by blinks of eyes and rolling of an eyeball upward, downwards or sideways. There are sensors given to the device to read the moving angels of the eye and perform tasks accordingly. The range is even set to be high and wide that means sensors can read the data even from a long distance but have to be in line with the device sensor. There are embedded powerful software to deal with it. The reading of data is regardless of the color of eyes and age. There can be, however, a need of special lens, or it may be free of that liability even. It is not yet clear from the company’s officials. So all we can do is to guess about it.
